Under the direction of Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR), the national guideline of Coronavirus (Covid -19) management and prevention are as follows:

What is SARS-CoV-2 Virus..?

From the different types of Coronavirus, humans can get infected by 7 and SARS-CoV-2 Virus is one of them.

Symptoms:


  • In most cases the first symptom is fever
  • Symptoms can be seen within 2-14 days
  • Dry cough/sore throat may also occur
  • Problems while breathing and pneumonia may occur
  • Other illnesses (diabetes/ hypertension/respiratory/heart disease/kidney problems etc.) can lead to organ failure or various body disorders.
  • Wash hands frequently with soap and water (for at least 20 seconds).
  • Do not touch eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Avoid contact with people who are already infected.
  • Follow manners while coughing (while coughing/sneezing cover your mouth with arm/tissue/cloth)
  • Be careful in case of urgent trips.

    Infection Control:

    • Request the sick patient to stay home.
    • Request the seriously ill patient to go to the nearest government hospital.
    • Request the patient to cover the nose and mouth.
    • It is possible to prevent through awareness, not panic
